Tell us about Rissman Property.

Rissman Property is a boutique agency based in Newstead. Our office specialises in sales and property management across Newstead, New Farm, and Teneriffe. We began this business with one clear vision: to assist the peninsula on its property journey by implementing a casual yet polished approach that challenges the typical stereotypes of real estate.

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

I would choose the ability to cure all illnesses and diseases, allowing me to save people’s lives.

Tell us about the next holiday you have booked.

The next holiday I have booked is Europe for my honeymoon. Brooke and I will be married in May, and we’re looking forward to a couple of weeks of downtime in June following the celebrations.

Tell us something about the property industry that we would find surprising.

Typically, apartments have been viewed as a poor investment; however, over the last few years, their growth has proven the complete opposite. Some apartments, specifically within the right pocket and building, have outperformed the housing sector, with over 50% growth in the last two years.

What does success look like to you?

Success for me is providing a foundation that allows for dynamic growth within our business. I gain great fulfilment from watching the people within our business grow year after year, cementing foundational changes and experiences that set them up for life. Culture is everything within our business, and supporting our team members to succeed is very important to me.
